Jan 12, 2018 · Horn problems. I'm having trouble with the horn on my 2006 zafira 1.9 diesel. It was working intermittently before stopping all together. Checked fuse thats ok the horn itself was getting 12v and i could here the relay clicking so I replaced the horn with a new one but still not working. The fuse is still ok but I can't here the relay anymore . May 12, 2009 · 2289 posts · Joined 2009. #30 · May 16, 2009. had the same problem last week. are your steering audio controls working if you have them ? if not it's the airbag contact unit which some people call it a squb. or it's the horn buttons them selfs. i changed both the buttons and squib and now working fine. supposed to be a common fault. Was cleaning snow off the windshield and the boyfriend honked the horn at me from the passenger side. Turn the bulbs round and insert they are + and - and need to be the right way round. If that does not work check the wiring for loose or rusted connectors and also check the fuse hasnt blown.
